Performing arts camp and Fine arts camp all in one! Since 1969 Long Lake Camp For The Arts combines a Theater Camp, Music Camp, Dance Camp, Circus Camp, Film Camp and a Fine Arts Camp (with 20 individual Art Studios) all in one magical setting. You can flourish in any area. With the very best staff, facilities and other great campers to fulfill all your artistic dreams, without sacrificing any one area for the other. We also have a fantastic fully featured waterfront and a fun exciting sports department because our campers like Land-Sports and Water-Front Fun as well. At Long Lake you can have Water-Fun with Swimming, Skiing, Sailing and Wakeboarding plus all Land Sports around your busy Arts Camp Schedule if you like. Long Lake is more than a Fine Arts and Performing Arts Camp, it is first a place where our campers come together to make friends, to meet others just like them who want to develop their talents and do not want to compete for parts in a play or wait for guitar lessons or sign up in our Jewelry Studio. At Long Lake Camp, our campers can take the time to discover new talents and new interests with the support of a nurturing staff and supportive campers. |

Long Lake Arts Camp goes beyond the traditional idea of a summer arts camp with a unique non competitive, nurturing program that caters to boys and girls ages 10 to 16 who want to immerse themselves in a performing arts camp and a fine arts camp. You choose what you want to do in Drama, Acting, Musical Theater, Fine Arts, Dance, Music, Film making, Rock music and Circus, concentrating on what you like best. By creating your own summer arts camp program you get exactly what you want in rewarding art summer camp fun. We also have a fantastic fully featured waterfront and a fun exciting sports department. We have over 39 years of operation under the same dedicated family ownership. Our 145 highly trained staff are handpicked from all over the world and we only have 250 campers per session. The arts are the core of our program. Our campers experience the opportunities of the adult world without the pressures of time, success, or failure. At Long Lake arts camp you can concentrate on what you like best! You can experiment in new activities like music, acting, rock guitar, film making or develop existing talents. Only 250 campers come to create an individual program based on their desire for fantastic summer arts fun. They spend their summers focusing on the performing/acting and or fine arts, yet still enjoy a wealth of other opportunities to stimulate the mind and body. Whether singing, acting, painting, dancing or playing an instrument, campers thrive from belonging to a group going in the same direction. Our arts and outing programs are balanced by a variety of field and water sports as well as exciting evening activities. Social activities are not separate events but rather a part of an ongoing process where campers get to know one another in an easy, day to day manner. At Long Lake arts camp every camper has the opportunity and is encouraged to try many new creative activities. |

Long Lakers enjoy our new "RYLEE CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS" a spectacular auditorium designed specifically for our 18 Musical Theater and Dance Productions and has many spaces for acting classes. In addition Long Lake has a 450 seat Theater especially for our 24 Straight Plays, Comedies and Instrumental Performances, along with our "Rays Playhouse" for One Act Plays. There are numerous rehearsal stages, music studios and over 20 fine artists-in-residence in our New Fine Arts Building ("THE FAB") helping to make Long Lake- the place to be to create and perform among new friends at an arts summer camp. |
